Two pedestrians killed in Laval, two collisions, 90 minutes apart

Two pedestrians were killed in two road collisions less than 90 minutes apart on Tuesday in Laval.
The first incident happened around 4:25 p.m. A 61-year-old man was struck by a vehicle while crossing des Laurentides Blvd., near Riopelle street.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second collision occurred at around 5:50 p.m., a 37-year-old woman was also hit by a vehicle while crossing Cartier Blvd. west, near des Laurentides Blvd.
She was transported to hospital, where she died of her injuries.
Laval police are investigating both incidents.
