SPVM looking for potential victims following pair of assaults near Viau metro station

Montreal police (SPVM) say they are looking for other potential victims following the arrest of a 35-year-old man connected to multiple assaults.

The SPVM say Paly Odimboleko-Okitaloshima was charged with assault on January 7, in connection to two assaults near Viau metro station last month.

Authorities say the first incident occurred just after midnight on Dec. 29, 2022, when the suspect allegedly approached a woman from behind before threatening her and allegedly assaulting her.

A few days later on Jan. 1, 2023, police say a second incident similar to the first occurred.

Paly Odimboleko-Okitaloshima has been described as being 1.75 m tall, 85 kg with black hair and eyes. During the first incident, he was wearing a black shirt and grey sweatpants. In the second incident, he was wearing black pants and a grey and cream flannel swater.
