Montreal makeup artist wins Oscar

A Montreal makeup artist won an Oscar for his makeup and hairstyling work to convert Brendan Fraser into a morbidly obese English teacher in the film “The Whale”.

Montreal native Adrien Morot won the best and hair and makeup oscar at the 95th academy awards on Sunday evening.

This is his first Oscar win – and his second nomination.
