Montreal police arson squad investigating vehicle fire in Hampstead

A vehicle was lit on fire outside a Hampstead residence early Friday.

A Montreal police (SPVM) spokesperson said it happened around 3:50 a.m. outside a home on Place Harland, near Harland street.

Once on the scene, an incendiary object was located and the investigation was transferred to the SPVM arson squad.

The vehicle is considered a complete loss.

No one was injured and no arrests have been made so far.
