Town of Mount Royal home targeted by gunfire; police searching for suspects

Montreal police are expected to go door to door Sunday in the Town of Mount Royal after a home there was targeted by gunfire overnight.

Residents inside the home on Dobie Avenue were not injured after shots were fired around 2:20 a.m.

Jean-Pierre Brabant, an SPVM spokesperson, said police found multiple bullet holes on the home and multiple shell casings on the ground.

Brabant said police are looking for surveillance video in the area.

The SPVM investigation is ongoing.
