Police say three suspects were arrested in Montreal Tuesday in connection with the shooting death of an 18-year-old man on Christmas Eve 2021.

The teenager was fatally shot at a house party in the Town of Mount Royal – on Trenton Avenue near Aberdare Road.

Police arrived to find the young man unconscious with more than one gunshot wound to the upper body. He later died in hospital. It was Montreal’s 36th homicide of 2021.

Montreal police say they have now arrested two 20-year-old men and a 20-year-old woman in connection with the shooting. One of the men was already in custody for another crime, police say.

Police say the two men will be charged Wednesday with second-degree murder. Police allege the woman will be charged with accessory after the fact.
