Man charged with pimping, Laval police say there could be more victims

A 23-year-old man was arrested by Laval police last week in connection with accusations of pimping, and investigators believe he may have more alleged victims.
Georgio Saliba appeared at the Laval courthouse to be charged and was released on several conditions.
Authorities say in June 2021, an alleged victim began a relationship with Saliba and over the following months, he reportedly proposed that she work for him – asking her to provide sexual services.
Police say the victim accepted and worked for a few months, but Saliba allegedly assaulted her when she tried to end the relationship.
Officers say that evidence suggests other people may have victimized by Saliba.
