Polish Day celebration in Montreal

Polish Montrealers gather on Saturday at Mederic-Martin park for the Polish Day festival.

Red and white flags hung above Médéric-Martin Park in Montreal’s Ville-Marie borough Saturday for a Polish Day festival.

Polish Montrealers gathered at the park on Gascon Avenue and Hochelaga Street.

The festival is a celebration of Polish culture, food, music, dance and more.

Hundreds got together to enjoy pierogis, socialize with friends and family and watch live performances.

Organizers with the Canadian Polish Congress have called the festival the biggest Polish community event in Quebec.
