Eastern Townships resident wins Halloween night $55M Lotto Max jackpot

Another Quebecer has won a huge Lotto Max jackpot.
A resident of the Eastern Townships won the Halloween night jackpot estimated at $55 million, Loto-Québec says.
“Last night thanks to Lotto Max, a jackpot of $55 million made a lucky person in the Estrie region,” the organization wrote in a Facebook post.

It’s the second massive jackpot won in Quebec in a matter of weeks.
On Oct. 6, Montrealer Pierre Richer won $50 million playing Lotto Max – and still made it in to work the very next day at 4:30 a.m.
