Arsonists go after same 2 vehicles in TMR twice in 24 hours, police say

By News Staff

Montreal police were once again called to a home in Town of Mont-Royal (TMR) after two vehicles were targeted by arsonists for the second time in just over 24 hours.

The call came in around 2 a.m. on Tuesday.

Unlike the night before, it seems the suspects were seen before they could set fire to the two vehicles parked in front of a home on Graham Boulevard in TMR. No damage was done.

The suspects fled before police arrived and no arrests have been made.

On Sunday night, emergency services were called to the same residence where Molotov cocktails had been thrown at the same two vehicles, causing minor damage.

By the time firefighters arrived on the scene, the incendiary objects had already been extinguished. Police were called in to investigate.
