The first long weekend of Puces POP’s winter edition wrapped up Sunday.

Montrealers gathered at St-Denis Church to meet and buy from local artisans.

“We have about 80 artisans this weekend, and then another selection of artisans next weekend for the holiday edition of Puces POP,” said Gabrielle Godon, the director, of Puces POP.

A whole range of items were for sale, including food, jewelry, ceramics, home accessories and toys for pets.

“It’s really diverse and it will make great gifts for your family and friends and you will encourage locals artisans who work from their hands,” Godon said.

The market also highlighted 2SLGTBQ+ and BIPOC artisans.

“I think it’s really important because there’s a lot of queer artists that come to this market, so it’s a lot of really good representation for queer people and artists of color,” said Godon.

Puces POP returns St-Denis Church Dec. 15-17.
