Rainy Sunday in Montreal turning to snow overnight

Montreal’s rainy Sunday is expected to last into the early hours of Monday, and that precipitation will then turn to snow.

Weather alerts were effect in many regions of Quebec, including the areas surrounding Montreal.

Between 10-20 mm of rain were slated to fall on Sunday. That was expected to turn into snow overnight into Monday.

Some areas near Montreal were at risk of localized flooding in low-lying areas. Environment Canada is warning about possible washouts near rivers.
