Preventive boil water advisory lifted for Châteauguay

A boil water advisory has been lifted for all residents of Châteauguay and surrounding municipalities as of 9:50 a.m. on Thursday – in place since Monday.

Areas served by the Régie intermunicipale d’aqueduc de la Vallée de Châteauguay, namely Mercier, Léry, Saint-Urbain-Premier, Sainte-Martine and Saint-Isidore (Petit Rang and Grande-Ligne sector), “no longer have to boil the water before consuming it,” said the city of Châteauguay on their website.
