The Montreal HomeExpo takes place at the Olympic Stadium starting today and runs until Sunday – for those interested in current or future renovations plans for their homes and more.
Over 200 experts who will be in attendance.
“This is a golden opportunity to meet tradespeople face-to-face, discuss projects, ask for quotes, and receive valuable, exclusive advice, especially when you don’t know much about renovation,” said General Manager of HomeExpo Jean Saad.
A new focus this year is on recycling, green innovations, and real estate.
Visitors will be able to discover unique exhibits, like PakVert panels from Pakville, made from recycled plastic bottles and they redefine the concept of home extensions.
HabitatPOD will be presenting its Pods concept, designed to reinvent the nature experience and Serre en verre will showcase tempered glass greenhouse options for year-round gardening.
Saad explained how the HomeExpo is unique this year because the exhibitors can take contracts on short notice.
“If you talk to any general contractor back in 2020 or 2021, you’re probably going to be waiting for 12 months until the start of the project. So our exhibitors are ready to take your projects on short notice, they want your business and we have a huge selection of suppliers in the renovation, decoration and construction field that want to talk to you.”
HomeExpo is an opportunity to meet business owners directly and get helpful advice towards renovations.
“For suppliers, it’s also the ideal time to present industry trends and eco-friendly ideas to the public,” said Saad.
Attendees can also take part in the “Change your décor” contest to win $15,000 worth of furnishings.
The HomeExpo is not affected by construction being done at the Olympic Stadium.
