Montreal man stabbed in Hochelaga alley

Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating after a man was stabbed and beaten in an alley Wednesday night.
Around 9:20 p.m., the SPVM were called about an assault behind Montgomery Street, near Hochelaga Street, in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve area.
According to police, two individuals beat the 31-year-old man before stabbing him in the upper body.
The suspects fled in a vehicle before officers arrived.
The victim was transported to hospital, and his injuries are considered non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made.
An investigation is ongoing.
