New digital image of what Ariel Jeffrey Kouakou may look like today – 6 years after disappearance

By The Canadian Press

The Missing Children’s Network unveiled Tuesday the possible image of a child who went missing six years ago, on March 12, 2018, in Montreal.

The aged, digitally rendered image of Ariel Jeffrey Kouakou, who was 10 years old when he disappeared from Ahuntsic, was produced by experts from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).

It aims to inform the public of the boy’s appearance today, and to solicit any new information that could help Montreal police in their investigation into his disappearance.

Frédéric Kouakou, the boy’s father, told Missing Children’s Network the image also aims to stimulate collective memory.

Mélanie Aubut, executive director of the Missing Children’s Network, says the organization remains alongside Ariel’s family, and noted that every missing child deserves to be remembered.

Ariel was seen leaving his home on foot to go to a friend’s house, but was never seen again.
