Man wanted by SQ for violent crimes in Abitibi-Témiscamingue

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) is asking for the public’s help in finding Mathieu Leblanc, suspected of arson, assault and uttering threats.

They say the 34-year-old man committed violent acts on Sept. 10 and 12, 2021 in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

Information leads police to believe that he is currently in the Montreal area.

Leblanc is stands about 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighs approximately 229 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.

Anyone who thinks they may have see Leblanc should call 911 immediately.
