Arrival of spring brings colder weather for Montreal

After mild weather, a colder week ahead as spring officially kicks off Tuesday.

Environment Canada forecasting a 40 per cent chance of rain or flurries on Monday afternoon for the Montreal area. 

The wind gusts will be 30 km/h with a high of plus 4 and a low of minus 3.

Tuesday and Wednesday will see similar temperatures with highs of plus 3.

Mainly cloudy tomorrow, as spring arrived, with a a 60 per cent chance flurries on Wednesday.

On Thursday, more flurries and daytime highs of minus 2 degrees. Dropping to minus 10 in the evening.

The average for this time of year plus 2.5 degrees.

Friday, sunny skies return to Montreal with a high of zero and a low of minus 12.

Another chance of flurries on Saturday and a high of 1.

Mix of sun and clouds for Sunday and zero degrees.
