1 dead, 1 injured in altercation at Terrebonne strip club

One man has died, and another was seriously injured in a violent altercation that occurred in the middle of the night on Friday in a bar in Terrebonne, north of Montreal.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Several people fled the O’Gascon Gentlemen’s Club after the incident.

The identity of the victim has not been released and it is not yet known whether he had a criminal record. The injured man was transported to hospital in critical condition.

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) and the Terrebonne Police Department are working together in the investigation. Investigators are looking for witnesses. Several people are reported to have participated or witnessed the altercation.

No arrests have been made so far.
