Teenager attacked in Montreal’s Saint-Michel borough

A 17-year-old boy was found with injuries to his body after an assault in the borough of Saint-Michel on Monday night.

The victim was taken to a hospital and his condition stabilized.

Around 8 p.m., Montreal police were notified that an injured person was in front of a home on 17e Avenue near Rue Louvain.

According to police, the young man was unconscious and had several injuries to his body when officers arrived.

The exact circumstances of the attack are still unknown, and it’s not yet certain how his injuries were caused.

A perimeter was set up and SPVM investigators, accompanied by the canine unit, conducted a search of the area.
