Man dies after shooting in Longueuil

A 50-year-old man has died after being shot late Monday night on Montreal’s South Shore.

According to the Longueuil police (SPAL), the incident happened around 11 p.m. on Mackay Street, in the borough of Saint-Hubert.

When officers arrived on scene, they found the injured man. He was taken to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Longueuil police set up a perimeter to allow investigators to analyze the scene.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
