About 10 vehicles found on fire in parking lot of Saint-Laurent business

Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating after fire destroyed about 10 vehicles in Saint-Laurent overnight.

Firefighters responding to a call at around 3:45 a.m., reporting several vehicles were ablaze in the parking lot of a business on Chemin Saint-François and Donahue Street.

The scene and the burnt out cars, vans, and trucks – still visible hours later.

The investigation transferred over to the SPVM.

“For the moment, no evidence show that this is a criminal event,” said SPVM spokesperson Antony Dorelas.

Investigators from the arson squad were onsite to analyze the scene.
