Warm weekend ahead to close out summer season in Montreal

Montrealers will be able to enjoy a warm and sunshine-filled weekend.
On Friday, mainly sunny skies with a high of 27 – feeling like 33 with the humidex.
A mix of sun and clouds on Saturday, with humidity levels reaching 34 degrees.
Sunshine on Sunday, with a high of 28.
Similar weather on Monday and even warmer with a high of 29.
Sunny skies continue Tuesday and Wednesday – with temperatures steady at 27 degrees.
Possible wet weather on Thursday with a 60 per cent chance of showers, and a high of 24 degrees.
Heat stroke prevention
A few tips to help avoid heat stroke:
-Stay hydrated
-Reduce physical effort: minimize physical exercise, especially outdoors, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., when the sun peaks
-Avoid alcohol or coffee
-Check in on your loved ones, friends, or neighbors who live alone and those who are more vulnerable to extreme temperatures
