Upcoming road closures on several Montreal highways

Drivers should be aware of several highway closures heading into the weekend.
The Transport Ministry has announced a long-term closure on Highway 13 and 520. Also, there will be a weekend closure affecting Highway 40.
Long-term closures
The ramp leading from Highway 13 (Chomedey) northbound to Highway 520 (de la Côte-de-Liesse) eastbound will be closed from Sunday at 10 p.m. until Oct. 26 at 11:59 p.m.
Additionally, 23rd Ave. south of Côte-de-Liesse Road heading east will be completely closed until Oct. 26 at 11:59 p.m.
De la Côte-de-Liesse Road will be partially closed (1 lane open) in the eastbound direction, on either side of Highway 13 until Nov. 16.
Weekend closures
The Côte-de-Liesse interchange heading east will be closed to repair guardrails from Friday to Monday.
The entrance from Highway 520 eastbound will be completely closed on Friday at 11 p.m. until Monday 5 a.m.
A detour will be available on the service road (de la Côte-de-Liesse) heading east, to the next entrance.
The right lane entrance on Highway 520 will be closed at night:
From Friday 11 p.m. to Saturday 9:30 a.m.
From Sunday 10 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.
The Côte-de- Liesse service road on Highway 40 heading east will be partially closed (1 lane open), on both sides of the entrance from Highway 520 starting Friday at 11 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m.
Laviollete Bridge / Highway 55
Between Trois-Rivières and Bécancour, two out of four lanes on the bridge will be closed, with one lane available in each direction.
Highway 30
There will be a one lane closure at Les Cèdres on A-30 west at km 8 (Chamberry), after the entrance from du Canal (A-338) on Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In Châteauguay and Mercier on the A-30 East, one lane will be closed on the bridge over the Châteauguay River from Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The entrance to de la Haute-Rivière Street will be closed by default on Sunday. A detour route will be available on René-Lévesque (R-132 east) and Saint-Joseph Blvd.
REM
The REM will open starting at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday to allow for system updates and bus shuttles will be available between Brossard and Gare Centrale stations from 5:30 a.m. to 7 a.m.
Bonaventure Highway (A-10) / Nuns’ Island
The ramp leading from the A-10 east (Bonaventure) to the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge is closed until mid-October.
On Nuns’ Island, the Pointe-Nord / Alexander-G.-Bell crossroads and the Jacques-Le Ber Street / René-Lévesque Blvd. entrances are closed until the end of November.
Work may be postponed, extended, or cancelled due to weather conditions or operational constraints.
