Six neighbours win $1M playing Québec Max

A group of six neighbours from Laval won $1 million in the Sept. 17 Québec Max draw.
The friends and neighbours usually get together twice a year for a BBQ, and around three years ago, they started playing the lottery together as a group.
They usually buy a ticket when the Lotto Max jackpot reaches $50 million, but they ended up winning the one million with Québec Max – which can be played online.
The winners are Emanuele Berneti, Jean-Philippe Deschênes, Caroline Hébert-Benoit, Dorian Pantea, Franky Pimentel, Paulo Daniel Tumilasci.
“Some of them are planning trips. One thing is for sure, though: the group will continue playing together,” reads a press release from Loto-Québec.
