Frost advisory issued for Montreal

A frost advisory has been issued for several areas in southern and central Quebec, including Montreal.

According to Environment Canada, temperatures will drop to the near freezing mark on Thursday. 

The weather agency recommends that plants and trees should be covered to protect them from any potential damage.

Some of the other affected areas include Laval, Vaudreuil and Valleyfield-Beauharnois.

On Thursday, sunny skies with a high of 13 and a low of 0 degrees.

Similar weather continues on Friday with a high of 15 and a low of 7.

Montrealers should enjoy warmer temperatures this weekend.

On Saturday, sunshine with a high of 18 and a low of 10 degrees.

Sunny skies on Sunday with a high of 19 and a low of 11.

On Monday, a high of 21 with a low 10 degrees.
