Man shot inside Saint-Leonard apartment

A 23-year-old man is in hospital after being shot inside an apartment building on Wednesday in Saint-Leonard.
Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call at around 11 p.m. about the incident on Saint-Zotique Street, near de Chailly Street.
When officers arrived, they located the victim conscious, with injuries to his upper body.
The man was transported to hospital and his life is not considered to be in danger.
According to police, one suspect was seen fleeing in a vehicle.
A 24-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting, but were not injured.
A security perimeter was set up to allow investigators to analyze the scene.
