A business was damaged by gunfire in the borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro overnight.
Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911call at around 2:30 a.m. after an alarm system was triggered at a business on Gouin Blvd., near Robitaille Street.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a projectile impact on the store window and a shell casing on the ground.
There were no reported injuries.
The SPVM set up a security perimeter to allow investigators to analyze the scene.
“The police will try to see if there are surveillance cameras that could have captured information, images, of the event itself,” said SPVM spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
