Boil-water advisory for Montreal North

A precautionary boil-water advisory was issued for the entire Montreal North borough on Wednesday night due to a cut in water supply and a drop in water pressure.

The advisory has been in place since Nov. 27 at 7:30 p.m. and remains in affect as of Friday.

More than 80,000 residents of the borough are affected by this notice.

The areas are limited to Saint-Michel Blvd. to the west and Albert-Hudon to the east, then from Gouin to Industriel.

You can track which location is being affected by using this map on the City of Montreal’s website.

Affected residents must boil their water for at least 1 minute before consuming it or using it to brush their teeth.
