Police investigating vehicle set on fire in Pointe-Claire

Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating after a vehicle was set on fire overnight in Pointe-Claire.
According to the SPVM, witnesses reported around 2:40 a.m. Monday that a vehicle was engulfed in flames in the private driveway of a residence located on Hastings Avenue, near Empress Avenue.
Firefighters managed to control the blaze, but the vehicle is considered a total loss.
The SPVM says the cause of the fire is unknown, but confirms that the investigation will be led by its arson section.
Investigators are onsite to find out more about the incident.
