Two homes in Terrebonne and an office in Laval were targeted by gunfire.
According to police, a 58-year-old suspect allegedly targeted both residences in Terrebonne within 45 minutes of each other on MOnday night – and they are said to belong to two of his former employers.
Shots were fired at the first home around 8:30 p.m. which is located on François-Brunet, near Louis-Truchon Street.
The suspect, who was driving in an SUV, then reportedly attacked another residence on Val-des-Bois Street, in Terrebonne, before fleeing.
At around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, law firm, located on Place Louis-R-Renaud in Laval-des-Rapides, was targeted by gunfire. Bullet impacts were found on the building.
The firm specializes in family law.
There were no reported injuries, but the suspect was later found dead in Saint-Jérôme at around 3 a.m.
Police say his death is not being investigated as a homicide.
The motive for the attacks remains unknown, but officers suspect that he targeted his former employers.
The investigation is ongoing.
