Rosemont restaurant goes up in flames, families left homeless

By News Staff

A restaurant fire forced a full evacuation of a three-storey commercial-residential building overnight Thursday in the Rosemont borough of Montreal.

The fire broke out after 3 a.m. on the ground floor of a building on Bélanger Street, near 28th Ave.

The flames then quickly spread to the second and third floors, which forced the evacuation of those living in apartments there.
