Warm weather ahead for Montrealers ringing into 2025

Montrealers will be closing off the year and ringing in the new one with unseasonably mild temperatures.
Tuesday is expected to be mainly cloudy, with winds temporarily gusting to 40 km/h in the afternoon.
The temperature will hold steady near plus 4 as NYE revelers can expect cloudy skies and winds tapering off, dropping to a low of plus 1.
To start off 2025, snow will begin in the morning and mixing with rain in the afternoon.
Approximately 2 centimetres of snow is expected with plus one, and then -2 for the low on Wednesday.
Come Thursday, periods of snow with a high of -2 and dropping to -6 at night.
A mix of sun and clouds for Friday and a high of -5 with 30 percent chance of flurries in the evening. The mercury expected to dip into the double negatives, with a low of -13.
Mix of sun and clouds continues over the weekend with a high of -9 for Saturday and Sunday.
