Montreal to host 4 Nations Face-Off tournament fan festival

As the 4 Nations tournament comes to Montreal and Boston next week, the National Hockey League announced a fan festival will be taking place in the two host cities.

The fan fest in Montreal will be happening Saturday, Feb. 15, at Windsor Station.

During the event, fans can take part in many different hockey-themed activities, get autographs from NHL alumni, see historic hockey artifacts, and have the chance to take a photo with the 4 Nations Face-Off trophy.

Rogers, the parent company of CityNews and partner of Canada’s team, is one of many companies that will have an interactive area at the fan festival, and it will feature a larger-than-life hockey-themed slot machine, and some NHL alumni at the Sportsnet broadcast desk. Additionally, fans can test their hockey shooting skills for a chance to win prizes.

At other booths, there will be a 360 photo activation; different hockey skills challenges; a virtual reality section; life-size holograms; trading cards; and more.

The event at Windsor Station will not require a ticket and will take place between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.

On top of the festival, Rogers and other sponsors will have interactive areas outside the Bell Centre on game days — Feb. 12, 13, and 15.
