Man dies after collision between vehicle & school bus north of Montreal

A man died in a collision with a school minibus in Saint-Donat, in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, on Tuesday.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) reports that emergency services were called to a collision involving two vehicles, including a school minibus, on Mont-Comi Avenue around 12:45 p.m.
The four elementary school-aged children aboard the minibus were not seriously injured, according to police. The driver of the minibus was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle, a man in his 60s, was also taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A police investigation has been launched to determine the causes and circumstances of the crash. The provincial police force stated that weather conditions may have played a role in the accident.
