The Montreal Shaadi Show is back on Sunday – ready to celebrate their 10th anniversary!
Known as the largest South Asian wedding show in Montreal, all are invited to experience the energy-filled event – from fashion shows to vendors with mouth-watering South Asian food and beverages, décor, fashion and more.
“When I became a full-time wedding and events planner,” said Girish Bansal, Founder & Organizer of The Montreal Shaadi Show. “I quickly realized that there was no dedicated resource center for South Asian couples getting married to look at various vendors to choose from.”

Bansal explained that when he and his team first did the show, they had about 30 vendors participate.
Fast forward to the 10th edition — the show now has 80 vendors under one roof.
“Proud and a sense of accomplishment,” said Bansal. “I am so proud to see all of these vendors grow over the years and I am very proud to say that our couples have a plethora of vendors to choose from.”

“Shaadi” is a Hindi word that translates to wedding.
So if you’re getting married, planning an event, or simply want to immerse yourself in the South Asian culture and community, the Shaadi Show organizers are welcoming everyone on April 13th from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. — with fashion shows at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. — at the Plaza Volare Reception Hall in Saint-Laurent.
“I Love knowing that the Montreal Shaadi Show has become such an invaluable resource guide,” said Bansal. “And the place to be and gather for everyone.”
