Gunshots at Saint-Leonard residence, after vehicle arson a few days prior

Gunshots were heard in Montreal’s Saint-Léonard district on Saturday night.

Police responded to a 911 call around midnight on Jonquet Street, near Grasset Street.

Bullet holes were found on the residence, and shell casings were scattered on the ground.

Montreal police say that no one was injured and no arrests have been made at this time.

Two vehicle arsons occurred at the same address on Thursday night.

Forensic identification technicians will be called in to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
