Bixi season begins across Quebec: “214 days ahead to explore on two wheels”

By News Staff

Another bike season has begun as Quebec’s Bixi network launched on April 15.

“214 days ahead to explore on two wheels,” they wrote on social media.

Earlier this month, Bixi announced that it was expanding its services to add four more cities this year bringing the total to 13 places in Quebec where the short-term bike rentals are available.

Sherbrooke, Saint-Eustache, Two Mountains and Saint-Lambert will be added, they said.

More than 1,600 bikes will added to Bixi’s 2025 fleet.

Bixi’s entire network will have around 12,600 bikes, including 3,200 e-bikes at over 1,000 stations across Quebec.
