Montreal Electric Vehicle Show 2025 kicks off, showcasing the future of electric mobility

The Montreal Electric Vehicle Show (SVEM) is underway at IGA Stadium in Jarry Park, offering three days of hands-on experiences, innovation, and expert insight into the future of electric transportation.

Running from Saturday to Sunday, the 8th edition of SVEM brings together 15 manufacturers showcasing 82 electric and plug-in hybrid models — including Canadian debuts like the 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ Prem Lux.

Visitors can test drive a wide variety of electric cars and bikes, thanks to a dedicated track made possible by CAA-Quebec and Power Q.

The event also features a full schedule of free conferences led by leading experts in electromobility.

“This 8th edition of the Montreal Electric Vehicle Show illustrates Quebec’s tremendous progress toward electric mobility. I warmly congratulate the organizers for making this must-attend event possible. It comes at a pivotal time: we must maintain our collective momentum, preserve vehicle affordability, and continue to expand the range of available models. By bringing together manufacturers, dealers, and consumers under one roof, we demonstrate that a successful transition is, above all, rooted in innovation and collaboration,” said Ian P. Sam Yue Chi, President and CEO of the Corporation of Québec Automobile Dealers (CCAQ).

The Montreal Electric Vehicle Show runs through to Sunday, May 4.
