30-year-old in critical condition after accident in Bas-Saint-Laurent

A man in his 30s is in critical condition after the car he was in rolled over on Highway 85 in Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac, in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region.
According to Sûreté du Québec (SQ) spokesperson Laurie Avoine, initial information indicates that the vehicle was traveling northbound when its driver lost control.
“The driver apparently lost control of his vehicle, crossed the central reservation and the oncoming lanes and then rolled over,” she said in an interview with The Canadian Press.
The driver, aged in his 50s, and another passenger, aged in his 40s, were also taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
