Woman and man in their 60s found dead in Granby

A woman in her 60s was found dead next to a seriously injured man Wednesday night in a residence in Granby, in the Eastern Townships.
According to initial information from the Sureté du Québec (SQ), Granby police were called to intervene around 11 p.m. on Wednesday for an event that occurred on Témiscamingue Street.
When police arrived at the scene, they discovered the bodies of a woman and a man seriously injured.
The man was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The SQ and the crimes against the person division have taken over the investigation, considering the event as “suspicious deaths.”
A murder followed by a suicide is among the possibilities analyzed by the investigators.
The forensic identification is on site to try to shed light on this event.
