Street flooded in St-Henri after heavy rain hits Montreal

A road in Montreal’s St-Henri neighbourhood was flooded on Tuesday afternoon, after heavy rain came down over the city.
A sewer on Courcelle Street near St-Antoine and St-Jacques was backing up, leaving cars no option but to drive through the accumulating water.
Before the downpour blanketed the city, it was mostly grey and cloudy for the day — clearing late in the afternoon. It was a warmer day, feeling like 26 degrees by the noon hour.
The good news: drier weather is on the way, just in time for Grand Prix festivities in and around the island.
Environment and Climate Change Canada calling for mostly sunny skies for Wednesday and a high of 26 degrees, but feeling more like 28 with the humidex.
Sunshine across the board for Thursday through to Saturday.
Sun and clouds are in the forecast for race day on Sunday — and a high of 23 degrees.
