After a week filled with special weather statements in the city, Friday began with sunshine in Montreal and this beautiful weather is expected to reappear as the construction holiday begins on Monday.
Sunny skies are ending the work week today with a daytime high of 24°C — this after the city saw rain yesterday and strong winds that tore down some trees.
Come Saturday, more sunshine in the forecast with a high of 27°C but feeling more like 29°C with the humidex. Rain is then expected to come down at night.
More wet weather forecasted by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) for Sunday. There’s a 70 per cent chance that that rain covers the city, while temperatures are set to reach 24°C for the daytime high.

Then the two-week construction holiday begins — and it looks like it will be met with blue skies.
A high of 23°C for Monday with sunshine.
Similar stunning temperatures expected to carry into Tuesday with a daytime high of 26°C.
Wednesday, changing up with a mix of sun and clouds in the forecast and 27°C.
ECCC showing that the evening might have a 60 per cent chance of showers — and rain possibly returning on Thursday.
