Several Montreal roads are expected to see closures over the coming weekend.
Transport Quebec says night closures will be in place for part of Highway 25 in addition to a full closure for part of eastbound Highway 40.
Highway 10 / Bonaventure
Highway 10 will be fully closed overnight between exit 4 (A-15, A-20) and Samuel De Champlain bridge on the following nights:
- between 11 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4 and 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5
- between 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5 and 6 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6
- between 11 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 7
Highway 25
Highway 25’s overnight road closure is to allow for lighting work to be conducted under the deck of the Sherbrooke Street overpass.

Due to this, Highway 25 towards Montreal will be completely closed between exit 5 — Route 138, Sherbrooke Street, Yves-Prévost Blvd. — and the Sherbrooke Street East entrance between 11 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, and 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Following this, Highway 25 towards the South Shore will be completely closed between exit 5 — Route 138, Hochelaga Street, Sherbrooke Street, Jacques-Cartier Bridge — and the Sherbrooke Street East entrance. This closure will be in place between 10 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7 and 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 8, before reclosing at 10 p.m. on Monday and reopening at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Transport Quebec notes that due to this closure, the Louis-Hyppolyte-La Fontaine tunnel will not be closed.
Highway 40
Part of eastbound Highway 40 will be fully closed over the weekend to allow for paving work.

Transport Quebec says the closure will begin at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, and will last until 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 8.
Highway 40 between exit 65 — P.-É.-Trudeau / A-520 / R-117 / Aut. Côte-de-Liesse / Boul. Marcel-Laurin — and the entrance from Highway 15 (des Laurentides) southbound will be closed during that time and will be diverted onto the service road — Côte-de-Liesse Road.

Due to this, all ramps connecting to eastbound Highway 40 will also be closed.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area if possible and consider using alternate routes like Highways 13, 20, 30, or 440.
RUE SAINT-JACQUES
The eastbound direction of Saint-Jacques Street will be fully closed between Seigneurs and Guy Streets from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5 and 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7.
RUE SAINT-ANTOINE
Saint-Antoine W. Street will be fully closed between Peel and Jean-D’Estrées from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6.
BOULEVARD MONTRÉAL-TORONTO
In Lachine, Boul. Montreal-Toronto will be closed between Boul. Saint-Joseph and Ave. Saint-Pierre from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5 to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8.
