3 vehicles set on fire overnight in Laval

Laval Police (SPL) are investigating after a fire destroyed three vehicles in the parking lot of a car rental business near Highway 440 overnight.
Around 2 a.m., the SPL was alerted about the blaze in the rear parking lot of a building on the Jean-Noël-Lavoie Highway.
“The caller reportedly noticed flames coming from three stationary vehicles,” the SPL told CityNews.
Police and firefighters were then dispatched to the scene.
“The firefighters and the fire investigator transferred the investigation to the Laval Police Department to determine the causes and circumstances of the fire,” the SPL said. “No arrests have been made at this time.”
The vehicles are considered a total loss, no one was injured, and an investigation is ongoing.
