A fight between several individuals in a Terrebonne park leaves one dead

A young adult lost his life during a fight involving several individuals in a park in Terrebonne, in the Lanaudière region.
Terrebonne police were called Friday evening, around 9 p.m., to intervene in a park on Blvd. des Seigneurs.
As this is now a homicide investigation, it has been transferred to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
“A person with serious injuries was found at the scene. He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. We are talking about a man aged 18 to 20,” said Camille Savoie, spokesperson for the SQ.
“The Sûreté du Québec’s Crimes Against Persons Investigation Service was mandated to investigate this case, obviously in collaboration with the Terrebonne Police Department. Forensic identification technicians and investigators were on site to understand the circumstances surrounding this death,” said Savoie.
She confirmed that “this death is currently considered a homicide.”
