Self-development workshops in Montreal help newcomers integrate into their new community

To help newcomers to Canada integrate into their new community, L’Hirondelle launched a series of self-development workshops in Montreal.

“We have a series of workshops that we’re giving to young adults to teach them how to develop skills to become functioning in life,” said Tarek Al Dana, Project Manager at L’Hirondelle. “By teaching them how to know themselves.”

Other workshops include: 

  • Manage stress and anxiety
  • Prevent addictions and build professional future
  • Overcome procrastination and boost productivity

“I was looking in the website and I was very curious of a lot of topics,” said Nicolas Diaz, workshop participant. “For example the finance topics to plan your future.”

The organization — committed to facilitating the social and professional integration of newcomers to Quebec — is offering these free in-person courses from October all the way to February 2026.
