Police seek public’s help in suspected Brossard pizzeria arson

Longueuil police (SPAL) are asking for the public’s help as they continue to investigate a suspected arson at a restaurant in Brossard.

The fire broke out around 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 2 at a pizzeria located at 5991 Auteuil Ave. Police were initially called to assist firefighters, but early observations pointed to a suspicious origin, prompting the SPAL to take over the investigation.

Forensic identification and investigative teams were deployed to determine the cause and circumstances of the fire.

As part of the ongoing probe, police have released images related to the case and are urging anyone with information to contact police confidentially or anonymously at Info-Azimut 450-646-8500 or call 911.

“We would like to remind you that any information, even partial, may prove decisive, and we thank the public for their cooperation,” explained Longueuil police.
