5 suspects arrested for break-in at Mont-Royal home

Montreal police (SPVM) arrested five suspects in connection with a break-in at a house in Mont-Royal.

SPVM received a 911 call around 2:50 a.m. on Friday about a possible breaking and entering on Laird Boulevard.

When the police officers arrived, they found several suspects at the scene and secured the place.

There were also seven victims inside the house at the time of the break-in. But no one was injured.

Investigators found some evidence at the scene.

Five suspects, aged between 15 and 21 years old, were arrested, according to Jeanne Drouin, SPVM spokesperson.

Investigation is ongoing.
