Midweek snow gives way to rain and rising temperatures in Montreal

Snow moves in this evening under cloudy skies, with about five centimetres expected overnight. Temperatures rise to minus 3 by morning.

Periods of snow continue Wednesday before tapering off in the afternoon, leaving cloudy conditions and temperatures steady near minus – 2 C.

Clearing skies arrive Thursday with a high of plus + 1 C, but clouds increase again overnight.

A shift to milder, wetter weather begins Friday with periods of rain and a high of 7 C. Rain continues at times Saturday with a high near plus + 2 C, mixing with snow overnight.

Snow returns Sunday with temperatures hovering around zero, before colder air settles in Sunday night.
